Ryanair Passengers Forum
Flights for 99p? Perhaps. But once you add on the "taxes and charges" you won't get much change from £30. Even so, you will struggle to find a cheaper deal anywhere. Just remember to follow the Ryanair "booking conditions" and you should be OK. [more...]
Easyjet Passengers Forum
Maybe not as cheap as they once were, but Easyjet still offers some of the cheapest deals on flights around Europe. And they fly to major airports too. [more...]

Low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet in Europe, and Southwest in the US, have made flying a lot more affordable.

BUT. These companies make a LOT of profit (they're not charities after all). And it's us passengers who supply this profit. So if the flights are so cheap, how can they make such healthy profits?

The answer is that these airlines make money from all the "add-ons" - things that "normal" airlines wouldn't charge extra for.

So you MUST read the Terms and Conditions BEFORE you make a booking. But it is still a LOT cheaper to fly around Europe than it was 20 years ago. You just need to know how.

And that is what Airlines Reviewed is all about. Sharing the knowledge.

Plus - Need to know how long it takes to clear immigration and baggage reclaim, how long it takes to transfer between flights, or how far the airport is from the city centre (it's especially good to know this if you fly Ryanair), or even if it is possible/safe to sleep in the airport overnight?

Airlines Reviewed is a forum for airline passengers to freely exchange this information, and is run independently of any airline or airport.

London Stansted Airport Reviews
If you're flying budget airlines around Europe, chances are that you will pass through London Stansted Airport at some point. But just how do you travel between Stansted Airport and central London? And is it OK to sleep there? [more...]
London Heathrow Airport Reviews
Over 67 million passengers pass through London Heathrow Airport each year, and this number is set to rise once the new "Terminal 5" opens. Transitting at Heathrow? You'll want to know how long it takes to transfer between terminals then. [more...]
New York JFK Airport Reviews
Probably the first stop for international visitors to the US east-coast. But what's the best way to reach downtown New York? AirTrain or bus? [more...]
